Most frequent questions and answers

Although we believe that project committees are the best way to learn new skills and take advantage of everything NOBE offers, you do not need to join a project committee to be a member.

While majority of members are undergraduate, there are students completing graduate degrees.

We expect NOBE members to dedicate 3-4 hours to the organization each week. Different committees may have different time commitments so feel free to reach out if you would like specifics.

"Joining NOBE was one of the best decisions I made my freshman year. NOBE provided me the opportunity to explore my interests in business and engineering. The committees helped me develop valuable communication and technical skills that I can use in future internships and jobs. I'd strongly encourage anyone interested to apply!"

"Initially, I was hesitant to join NOBE because I thought I would not fit in due to my major in journalism. However, the past 2 years of being apart of NOBE have been the greatest experience of my life. The connections that I have made with other members will allow me to flourish in any professional setting that I find myself in. NOBE is so much more than any other club on campus, and I strongly encourage anybody regardless of their major to think about joining!"

"When I joined NOBE I did not know what to expect, however, after joining the consulting committee and meeting all the members I found many opportunities within business and engineering. NOBE provides a great entry into understanding multiple industries with real life experience and building a network around them."
